Recently at our July competition Lynell Gallagher and Coral Ellis, two of our long-standing members were awarded their life member awards.

Both Lynell and Coral have been members of PADS for over 10 years and have served consistently as instructors and on the committee since 2011.

Lynell has held various committee positions with her most recent role having been the club’s Vice President and Class Co-Ordinator.

Coral also has had varying roles over the years, however, her most recent role is one that the club values immensely and that is the competition facilitator.  Without Coral organising from behind we would have no raffles, no scribes, and no our competitions wouldn’t necessarily run as smoothly as they do.

Both ladies are regular faces at the South East Qld competitions and the ADAA National Grand Prix’s as well.  Lynell as well as Coral both started off in agility with one dog however over the years have trained and added several other dogs to their menagerie as the agility bug bit them.

Both Lynell and Coral have over the years have worked tirelessly to the aid of the club, willingly sharing their training knowledge with our new and upcoming members.

Congratulations to these two ladies on this well-deserved recognition.
