Beginners Dog Agility
Agility is an excellent sport for both dogs and handlers. It has many positives – a terrific way of building that bond between you and your dog; an enjoyable way to train desirable behaviours in your dog, as well as a fun way to exercise with your dog.
Purpose of class:
To introduce the foundations of agility to members and their dogs and to strengthen the relationship between the handler and their dog.
Criteria:
Dogs/Handlers must have:
*OFF LEAD CONTROL – if necessary the monies are rolled over and handler will be asked to work on this skill before recommencing the course.
* Solid obedience skills
In addition:
*Dogs must be 12 months or older.
*Junior handler must be 10 years of age (if under 15 a parent must be in the class with them at all times).
*No sibling dogs/multiple dogs from the same household will be enrolled in the same course.
*Dogs must be crated when not working. You are expected to provide your own crate.

When are classes held?
Beginner Agility Classes run on a Wednesday evening 6.30pm arrival for 7-8.30pm. Classes are run in a 10 week block with bookings essential. View our Classes Calendar to see when upcoming Beginner Agility classes are available and book in.
REGISTRATIONS OPEN 1 MONTH PRIOR TO CLASS COMMENCEMENT DATE.
Cost
$120 for 10 week course.
After registering for a class, if you are not a current financial member you will need to go into the Memberships area and join the club. You will need a current vaccination certificate to upload to complete your membership. You will not be able to attend the class until you have completed membership and been issued with a membership number.
