Basic Obedience


The basic obedience course is run over an eight week period. Throughout the course our instructors will assist you in training your dog, whilst it learns the building blocks of basic obedience behaviours, including sit, drop, stay, and recalls, whilst using positive reinforcement training techniques. You will learn how to use a clicker to indicate to the dog when they have completed the correct behaviour and follow up with a food/toy reward. Our instructors will help you have fun with your family pet the combination of positive reinforcement training techniques and fun, will result in a well adjusted family pet.
The dogs have to be a minimum of sixteen (16) weeks and fully vaccinated to be able to attend this class.

  • PADS 2010 AGM The AGM will be held on 20th September at 7pm at the commencement of training. All positions become vacant. If you wish to nominate yourself or another member for a position the form( available at the clubhouse) must be filled in and returned by 14 days prior to the AGM. Anyone wishing to lodge a postal vote must let us know 14 days before the AGM and they will be given the list of nominess. Voting only happens from the floor at the meeting if there is no nomination form completed for a position or if there is more than 1 nomineee for a position.
